Import and export activities of the OYAK affiliates, especially the OYAK Cement Group, are run by Oytaş Domestic and International Trade Inc. that was founded in 1974 to assess the international trade potential of OYAK Group.

With experience over thirty years in exportation as well as importation; excellence, professionalism, qualified personnel and documented service quality with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Oytaş has become a respectable and reliable Company in the world markets with the attention paid to customer satisfaction.

The core business of Oytaş is to export cement/clinker and import coal/petrocoke; run the following commercial activities:

Cement | Klinker
International marketing and exportation of cement and clinker that are produced in OYAK Cement Group factories are realised by Oytaş.

Oytaş, while developing its potential in the traditional Mediterranean, Black Sea and Middle East markets continuously searches for new markets and customers. And also carry out studies towards product range in accordance with the investment projects of the Group. 

Besides product and service quality, with the reliability of its commercial principles the Company has attained a righteous place among the global blue chips of the world in cement/clinker trade.  

Coal | Petrocoke
The solid fuel needs of the OYAK Cement Group factories are met by Oytaş. With its know-how and experience in the sector, Oytaş plans the best buys for the Group's cement factories.

Along the powder coal and petrocoke importations for the cement factories ordinary coal for heating purposes is also imported and distributed through the dealer channel. The annual capacity of industrial and heating purposed coal trade is 1 million tons.

Scrap Iron
To meet the needs of the Iron and steel factories importation of scrap iron is actualised from Russia, Ukraine, West and North African countries in the following standards.

• HMS 1 (ISRI: 200 - 201 - 202 )
• HMS 2 ( ISRI: 203 - 204 - 205 - 206 )
• GRADE 3 A (RUSSSIAN STANDARD GOST 2787-75)

Kraft Paper, Investment and Consumables
Oytaş acts as a mediator in the importations of kraft paper, machinery and various materials so as to meet the needs of the cement factories as well as the other customers.

Construction Materials
Sales and distribution of the White cement that is produced by Adana Cement is carried out in the Marmara Region.

The slag that is ground at the required accuracy according to the needs of the users is domestically marketed by the producing factories, Adana Cement and Bolu Cement, and in the international markets as raw and ground by OYTAŞ.
