TÜBİTAK, OYAK Concrete and AKG Gaz Beton have carried out the Turkish leg of the HAS 2 TE Project, realized with 14 university and private sector participants from seven different countries (Italy, Spain, Turkey, UK, Poland, Brazil, France) within the scope of the EU Research Funds Horizon 2020.
The aim of this project was to take materials extracted from the sea by TÜBİTAK and the waste materials from aggregate quarries, and conduct research into how these can be used in concrete as an aggregate. Our HAS 2 TE Project entry was scored according to three main criteria, with the following points awarded:
Excellency: 4 points (Very Good) Impact: 3 points (Good) Implementation and Quality of Efficiency: 3 points (Good)
The maximum amount of points that can be awarded was 15, and the threshold value is 10. The project scored 10 (i.e. the threshold value). Obtaining this score was a great success considering the short amount of time the team had to prepare a dossier and presentation. The presentation given to introduce this project is attached.
It was decided to reapply to Horizon2020 “SC5-14b”, whose last application date was March 2017 and ensure the team are more prepared next time.

· To learn the purposes behind the processing of their personal data and whether their personal data has been used properly or not,
· To know the names of any third parties within or outside the country to which their personal data is transferred,
· To request the correction of incompletely or incorrectly processed personal data and to notify this to third parties to which their personal data has been transferred,
· In the event that the reasons that lead to the processing of their personal data are no longer relevant, although it has been processed as per the Law and the relevant legislation, to request the deletion or destruction of their data and to notify this to third parties to which their personal data has been transferred,
· To object to the analysis of their processed data, if it has resulted against them when conducted exclusively through automated systems,
· To request the recovery of their loss, if they suffer a loss due to the processing of their personal data in a way that violates the Law.
